Application of Series M Expansion Joint Cover Profiles

Agor Company’s Series M profiles are designed for covering expansion joints in areas where various vehicles pass, such as parking lots, as well as service and utility spaces. In this group of products, due to the type and location of use and to increase durability and efficiency, all-metal covers have been used.
These profiles can be installed in both floors and walls. The load capacity of these products is very high, and they have the ability to withstand the passage of semi-heavy and heavy vehicles.
In addition to adapting to movements caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the structure, during an earthquake, floor profiles act in a sliding manner and wall profiles act in a hinged manner. Due to the increased load-bearing capacity, the profiles in this group are heavier than other products. For example, in the MSX profile, which has the capability to bear the load of heavy vehicles, the middle part of the joint cover is made of steel and designed in a truss form.
